In softball, just like in life, things will go wrong. You can count on it. Maybe there will be heavy traffic on the way to the field and your team will arrive late for warm ups, or maybe two of your starters will come down with the flu.
So how do you deal with it? The key, says sports psychologist Andrea Becker, is to embrace whatever is thrown at you rather than being unnerved by it.
